Information which the parent/guardian is required to bring to the enrolment interview includes:
Completed enrolment form
An original of your student’s Birth Certificate
Current Medicare card
School Reports and NAPLAN results, if your child was enrolled in a non-government school
Name and contact details of two emergency contacts who do NOT reside with the student
Any details of the student’s disabilities and medication to be taken.
A Year 7 enrolment evening will be held in October/November. Parents are encouraged to ensure enrolment procedures are completed before school starts.
Enrolment at other times throughout the year is welcomed. An enrolment appointment may be arranged by contacting the school office (46914100). Please note that completion of student timetables, preparation of classes will usually mean a delay of a least one working day before a student can start classes.
A transition program is organised to welcome and induct prospective Year 7 and 10 students from local schools. Please contact the school to register interest in these events.
A welcome evening for parents of students new to the school is arranged in the third week of the school year. This is an excellent opportunity for you to meet your child’s teachers.
First Day Procedures
Marking Rolls/Roll CheckStudents in all year levels will firstly attend Assembly. Afterwards they will be divided into year levels and allocated Roll Group Classes. Time will then be taken to disseminate information regarding school policies and procedures. For example:
- Student Planners
- School routines, uniform, and behaviour management
- Assessment, assignments and homework
- Explanation of timetables
