Camps and excursions

Throughout the year, students will be involved in camps and excursions which are linked to the curriculum and provide the students with the opportunity to attend and participate in a variety of activities and experiences they may not otherwise have the opportunity to complete within the classroom.
School camps and excursions also contribute significantly towards the social education and welfare program at the school. 
Payments & Refunds
Charges for excursions and camps are calculated on a cost recovery basis only.  The school budget cannot meet any shortfalls in funding for excursion/camps due to the non-participation of a student who had previously indicated attendance in the activity. 
Fees already paid for an excursion or school camp may be refunded in full or in part or not at all, depending on associated expenses incurred by the school and the circumstances of the non-participation.
A parent/carer wishing to apply for a refund due to their child’s non-participation in an excursion/camp may do so by completing a Request for Refund form available from the school office.  Where possible, the request should include the receipt relating to the payment for which the refund is being sought.
It is preferred that refunds be made as a credit against the student’s account at the school, and used for any cost in the future.
